Vocabulate is a Windows-only application at the moment, and it requires that you install version Microsoft .NET 4.6.2 installed. This can be downloaded from the official Microsoft webpage, located here:
For Mac and Linux users, Vocabulate should be able to run under the Mono Framework, although your mileage may vary (Mono can be a bit complicated to set up, and support is not guaranteed).

How to Install
Earlier versions of Vocabulate came in a format where you could “install” it and run from your Start Menu, Desktop, and so on. However, the final version of the software available here is streamlined into a “portable” version only. Once you have have downloaded the “Portable” version of the software, no installation is necessary — you simply need to extract the .zip file to your preferred location.
How to Launch Software
If you have downloaded the “Portable” version of the software, simply double-click “Vocabulate.exe” after extracting it from the .zip file. If you have already installed the software from the “Installer” version, simply double-click the shortcut placed on your desktop or, alternatively, single-click the “Vocabulate” icon in your computer’s start menu.
Note: To use this software, you will need a dictionary formatted for its use. You can download a copy of the dictionary from here: 2019-07-30-AEV_Dict.zip. This dictionary file is also included with the software download.
